I have a 8 year old son who still wets. I’ve tried waking him before I go to bed, restricting fluids in the evening, drugs (DDAVP tabs – expensive that didn’t work) and it is really affecting his self esteem. I finally got him to a pediatric urologist who said everything was “fine” and told me that a bedwetting alarm is the most effective cure for him. Anyone heard of the malem alarm he recommended?

unsure weather to go with the pad and bell alarm, wireless alarm or the one that clips onto childs underware? If any one has had any experience with bedwetting alarms, i would love your advice. Thanks

How long do I have to stay dry to know that my bedwetting is over?
btw: the reason it’s under religion is because I noticed it’s very popular and health isnt quite so much, especially bedwetting and it’s a real problem

I have a son that has a bedwetting problem. He is going into the 7th grade and it has gotten to the point where he will just say he will not want to go sleepover with friends because he is afraid that they will find out that he wets the bed and will make fun of him when I was young I also went through the same thing and I know that it is hard not being able to hang out with friends just for that

Major Tom asked:
I know most serial killers are known to wet the bed past the age of 13. Some professionals speculate that is a warning sign. Other suggest it’s from disturbing behavior. What usually causes a child to wet the bed past the age of 13. I did it until I was about 16. To make a long story, I had a traumatic upbringing. Is there anyone here that has a tangible answer to this question?
