What should I do about my sons bed wetting?

caringfather@ymail.com asked:

My oldest son out of the three boys i have started wetting the bed. He is 14. We already went to the doctors and he said it will pass in a couple of months. But it has been over three months since he said that and now i am thinking of buying my son diapers. I dont know if he would like it but it is the only way to keep things dry. So should i get him diapers and if so what kind and what brand? Also if i should make him wear diapers how should i ask him to wear them? Please help!

What is the best diaper for bed wetting?

Rex asked:

I am a 16 year old male that wets the bed. Yes i have been to the doctor and see if there was any medical problems and they found nothing. The doctor said just to wait it out and maybe want to wear diapers for protection. So i turn to others for help in what is a good youth diaper for bed wetting.

It’s almost every night that he soaks the sheets, and the state doesn’t pay for goodnite diapers or laundry, so I need to lay down the law. I’m going to give him a warning. What should the warning be? Should it be next time you wet it’s out you go? Or should I say that if it happens 3 more times he’s out? He’s 12 years old so that’s way too old to be ****** on himself at night.

we have tried waking up middle of the night but we can never catch the right time to wake up or he doesn’t want to wake up at all. i’m tired of washing the sheets and blankets EVERY stinkin day :( . i suggested diapers but he refuses. we have a baby on the way and i dont’ think i can deal with the added stress of washing the sheets everyday! he said he’s talk to the doc about it but i dont’ believe him. they even prescribed him sleeping pills???!!!??? how does that help won’t it just make him deep sleep even more so he wont respond to his bladder problem? he is seeing a therapist and is taking aderol for ADD. but i have heard of a pill that they can prescribe to help him wtih his bedwetting. anyone know of this? they tested him for a UTI and nothing, STDS and nothing… and basically stopped there. shouldn’t there be further treatment for him? like bladder testing etc? i dont’ get it. how can we deal with this. i need some advice or input. he doesn’t drink anything b4 bed and everything but he still wets the bed. please only serious responses.

My girlfriend is a bedwetter and wears diapers at night. She is a little embarrassed about this. Should I start wearing diapers too so she doesn’t feel alone?
